Paduka Sri Sultan Mansur Shah ibni al-Marhum Sultan Ahmad Shah is the fourth Sultan of Pahang who reigned from 1512 to 1519. He succeeded on the death of his cousin, Abdul Jamil Shah I in 1512. ==Early life== Known as Raja Mansur before his accession, he is the son of the second Sultan of Pahang, Ahmad Shah I by his wife, a daughter of Bendahara Tun Hamzah. He ascended to the throne for the first time at a very young age following the abdication of his father, Ahmad Shah I who went into religious seclusion in 1495. As a result, he reigned under the rule of his cousin, Abdul Jamil Shah I and assumed full control only in 1512 after the death of the latter.
